b. The OE Innovative Technology Advocate also coordinates and implements technology
transfer activities with other federal agencies and public and private sector stakeholders. The
Technology Advocate is responsible for:
(1) Coordinating with the OE MCX on regulatory, policy, and procedural issues relating to
OE technology on behalf of his or her organization.
(2) Maintaining a current working knowledge of conventional and emerging technologies
having application to OE design or response execution.
(3) Serving as an organizational resource for technologies that may contribute to project
effectiveness (enhanced risk reduction per cost).
(4) Communicating technology information, opportunities, requirements, lessons learned,
or other feedback among design or execution personnel and the OE MCX.
